Favored Assassin Armor?
What armor type (not appearance) do most of you guys go with and/or recommend?
As of right now, I am deciding between Nightstalkers and Shrouded.

+5 daggers? Use zealous and you'll be fine. You're supposed to be a class that does damage. Don't wast 15% on 5 energy then.
I use full +15 while attacking. 'coz that's what I'll do!

i don't have zealous yet [damn you, bramble everthorn!] nor could find people who sell them. my guildmate who finished factions offered to get me a pair so i'm taking what i have at the moment [or when we meet up].

Indeed Everthorn's Chakrams are the way to go. Hell I even have a pair or Ungues of the Oni (-5e) for when things get ugly!

i have yet to try a zealous mod, actually. but i do like my energy to be above 25, so i use shrouded and still do an AP build [yes, i like energy]. and 15%^something mods aren't really that great since it's just an extra 15% of 7-17 while [insert condition here]. i guess it's a matter of playstyle.
going back, i have a friend who uses all shrouded. yanman [as are most sins], go for nightstalkers for added armor. it really depends on your playstyle and build. if it's energy-hungry, i think you should find some way of incorporating additional energy, be it via weapon mod or armor. if you have a build that has damage + energy management built in [like what i use: a promsin for pve, moebius/flourish sin for pvp], then added armor is better.

In my current build I always use: 10e skill, 10e skill, 10e skill, 5e skill, 5e skill, 5e skill, 5e skill with exhaustion, res signet.
I can pretty much spam those skills as long as I can ( except shock lol )
All thanks to zealous, 14 critical strikes, and black lotus strike that pretty much negates the first 20 energy spent.

yup. i've been studying different assassin builds like yours and the PVE build you were inspired from [spura's AP build if i'm not mistaken] and i believe that BLS is one of the best skills we have in terms of attack dmg AND a bonus [which is energy management]. that said, i shall make imperial nightstalkers leggings and boots now [the OP said armor type, but i like imperial on my sin. so sexy!].
